accepted, a nonrefundable deposit of $750 accompanies the return
of a signed contract. Most families make tuition payments
according to a 3-installment or 10-month installment payment plan.
Each
year’s tuition includes books, most supplies and field
trips. Lunches and snacks are not included except in preschool. Also
not included are the class trips that are taken in fifth through
eighth grades. Though there may be the occasional call for
a small contribution to a cookie sale or other service activity,
Old Trail tries very hard not to “nickel and dime” our
families.
As stated above, Old Trail School has established a need-based
financial aid program to ensure that qualified students have the
opportunity to attend. Simply put, “need” is defined
as the difference between the school’s tuition and what the
family can afford. Families wishing to apply for financial
aid follow a process which is outlined in more detail in our financial
aid packet, which is sent out in November. The best advice
we can offer is, “Don’t worry.” Just as
we work together to determine whether Old Trail is the right academic
fit for your child, we can also work together to determine whether
we are the right financial fit! |
