Prior to the 2008 season, Jessica managed driver Ricky Rudd during his final 2007 season in NASCAR with the Snickers Racing team. She began her career in racing five years ago after accepting a position with Daytona International Speedway. There she served as the Marketing Manager for DAYTONA USA and later became the Special Events Manager for the speedway.
Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Miami University where she received her B.A. in speech communications with a minor in marketing. While at Miami, she served as a member of the Miami University Student Foundation, Chi Omega sorority, Office of Admissions Campus Tour Guide, and the Choraliers.
After graduating from Miami University, Jessica began her career in Minor League Baseball, with the Buffalo Bisons (AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) where she worked on the as an intern with the promotions and communications staff. At the completion of the 2001 season in Buffalo, Jessica became the Director of Marketing for the Jamestown Jammers (single-A affiliate of the Florida Marlins) in Jamestown, NY where she managed promotions, merchandise, marketing, and ticketing. Jessica enjoyed the joys of working outside at a ballpark every day, but longed to move south. Her wish came true when she took a position with the Savannah Sand Gnats (single-A affiliate of the Montreal Expos) ball club located in historic Savannah, GA. She spent that 2003 season in Savannah before being offered a position in motorsports with Daytona International Speedway.
While Jessica doesn't enjoy much free time, she enjoys music, movies, photography, spending time with friends and family, and coming up with projects to do around her house. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC and is the sister of Joshua Rohlik '96.
Jessica admits that her current profession in NASCAR wasn't exactly on the 5-year and 10-year life plan since she had never been a NASCAR fan, but admits that even with all of the traveling and work, she can't imagine having any better job than being able to watch her teams compete every weekend on the race track as she takes notes from the pits.
