Old Trail School’s health education is taught in homeroom
with support from science and physical education classes.
Through this well-rounded approach students develop an awareness
of their bodies and embrace healthy habits to sustain a healthy
lifestyle. In Addition to gaining an appreciation for
the fascinating body systems, students gain a respect for
themselves and are encouraged to make positive efforts to
maintain total well- being.
Strong self-esteem and positive social interactions are
an important aspect of the health curriculum. We encourage
students to value themselves while valuing others equally.
Mutual respect provides a common ground for working through
social situations that are an inevitable part of growing
