Are you ready for Summer?

Old Trail School's signature summer experience promises to be better than ever with more than 60 different camps, featuring 23 brand new themes, and twice as many full-day options compared to last year.

Registration for OTS+ is now open! Our recreational and enriching after-school program is thoughtfully designed to enhance students’ emotional, cognitive, physical and social development in a safe, familiar setting – their own school!

Before the break, Grade 8 students in our Global Explorers middle school elective participated in a one-hour, video conference with students and teachers from across the U.S. and world, hosted by the Global Education Benchmark Group.

To more intentionally weave service into the fabric of who we are as an Old Trail community, Head of School Sarah Johnston announced a new initiative called the “Be A Better Buffalo Challenge.”

In recognition of excellence in design and execution of architecture, the Akron Component of the American Institute of Architects recently presented Peninsula Architects a 2021 Merit Award for the local firm's remarkable Merryweather Outdoor Classroom design.

The Old Trail School Parents’ Association is proud to announce that Grade 7 student Skye Nguyen has been selected as the winner of the 2021 OTS Spirit T-Shirt Contest!

This morning, students in our Early Childhood 5-Day and 3-Day programs paraded outdoors across campus in their Halloween costumes to the delight of their Primary School peers and family members who were able to attend.

Need an extra day or two to get ready for Thanksgiving? Old Trail School Staycation is here to help with a full day (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) of fun and meaningful activities designed for students in Kindergarten to Grade 5 on Monday, Nov. 22, and Tuesday, Nov. 23.

Congratulations to seventh grader Skye '23, who is featured as the youngest contributor in Far From Their Eyes: Ohio Migration Anthology, a book containing stories, poems and artwork by Ohio immigrants from around the world.

After such a disjointed year and a half, Saturday night's Feast in the Field felt especially momentous with fabulous food, lively music and – most importantly – the chance to connect with all of you!
