OTS Class of 2025 Awarded Nearly $1M in Merit-Based Scholarships

OTS Class of 2025 Awarded Nearly $1M in Merit-Based Scholarships

It is with immense pride and joy that we celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Old Trail School Class of 2025 in their secondary school acceptances. Our graduates continue to distinguish themselves as scholars, leaders and changemakers, and their success in the secondary school admissions process reflects the strength of an Old Trail education.

“Old Trail graduates are highly sought after by top secondary schools and programs for their intellectual curiosity, strong character and passion for learning—qualities they have nurtured within our dynamic and supportive community,” said OTS Head of School Sarah Johnston. “As they prepare for their next adventures, we will celebrate their many achievements in the months ahead and look forward to all the ways they will continue to thrive and lead."

In addition to matriculating to some of the most respected public schools in Northeast Ohio, our soon-to-be graduates have been accepted to the following esteemed independent and parochial secondary schools and programs in the region and beyond:

  • Archbishop Hoban High School
  • Gilmour Academy
  • Hathaway Brown School
  • Hawken School
  • Holderness School (N.H.)
  • Laurel School
  • Magnificat High School
  • Our Lady of the Elms
  • Padua Franciscan High School
  • Phillips Exeter Academy (N.H.)
  • Saint Ignatius High School
  • University School
  • Walsh Jesuit High School
  • Western Reserve Academy

Further underscoring their excellence, our graduates have collectively been awarded nearly $1 million in merit-based scholarships. This impressive group includes a Jarvis Scholar and, for the second consecutive year, an Old Trail student was awarded the Lyman Scholarship. Both the Jarvis Scholarship at University School and the Lyman Scholarship from Laurel School are highly competitive, fully funded four-year merit-based awards that require a rigorous application process.

While final decisions are still being considered by our students, this impressive list emphasizes the strong reputation of an Old Trail education and the exceptional opportunities available to our graduates as they take their next steps. Please join us in congratulating the Class of 2025 on this remarkable milestone!
