PRs Fall as XC Concludes 2022 Season

The Old Trail School cross country team finished its season in record-setting fashion on a beautiful fall afternoon at Howe Meadow on October 12.

In a meet featuring visiting runners from Andrews Asborne Academy, Firestone Middle School, Heritage Christian and Lawrence School, the Buffaloes set 19 personal records, paced by a pair of first-place, individual finishes. Both James '23 (1st of 34) and Samantha '23 (1st of 34) crossed the finish line well ahead of the competition with their best times of the fall to lead the boys' and girls' teams, respectively.

In all, the boys team placed five runners in the top 10, while two finished in the top-five on the girls side. As a team, the boys placed second while the girls tied for second with AOA.

Congratulations to all our runners and coaches on a successful final meet and fall season!
