A Joyful Kickoff at Old Trail’s First-Ever Fall Festival

A Joyful Kickoff at Old Trail’s First-Ever Fall Festival

Old Trail School’s first-ever Fall Festival was a joyful celebration of community, school spirit and the excitement of a new school year. Held at the Merryweather Outdoor Classroom on Friday, September 12, the event brought together families, friends and faculty for an evening filled with fun, laughter and memorable moments.

The festival embraced a lively, family-friendly tailgate atmosphere. Guests enjoyed the delicious taste of Swensons burgers while others opted to bring their own picnic-style meals, spreading out across the lawn on blankets and camping chairs. Children and parents alike delighted in the chance to relax outdoors, connect with familiar faces and make new friends.

One of the highlights of the evening was the opportunity to experience Rocket Car rides, a unique attraction that brought plenty of smiles and laughter. The excitement and energy of the rides added to the festive atmosphere and gave students and families alike an experience to remember.

The night’s grand finale was an unforgettable all-school dance party, led by award-winning entertainer, DJ and OTS parent Nick Duvé. Beginning around 6 p.m., the music brought the entire community to its feet. Students, parents, and teachers joined together on the dance floor, turning the evening into a true celebration of togetherness and school pride.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening. The inaugural Fall Festival was more than just a new tradition—it was a vivid reminder of the strong bonds that make Old Trail School such a vibrant and welcoming community.
