OTS Art Teacher Showcases New Exhibit

Old Trail School is proud to share that Art Teacher, Lindsay Martin Gryskewich, is debuting her latest exhibition, "Environ: In Transport of Delight," at the Horizon Gallery, located in Summit Artspace in Akron!

At Old Trail, we celebrate teachers who not only inspire students in the classroom but also share their passions beyond our campus. Lindsay’s creative work has been showcased in numerous local venues and as well as galleries across the country.

Her newest exhibition is a stunning series of narrative paintings that combine real and imagined spaces. These texturally rich pieces draw inspiration from Lindsay’s reflections on everyday life. “I am interested in how we spatially orient ourselves and wander through the sites of our lives,” she shared. “Place is a fluid illusion: both general and detailed, permanent and temporary. Painting emerges as material amalgamation of the body’s translations of memory."

Lindsay's work will be on display from October 4 to December 14 at Summit Artspace’s Horizon Gallery. We encourage you to visit and experience her captivating work!
