Old Trail Families Enjoy Fun-Filled Day at Ramseyer Farms

Old Trail School families gathered on a picture-perfect fall day for a community outing at Ramseyer Farms, where fun, laughter and connection were the themes of the day.

The sunshine and crisp October air set the stage for a wide range of activities that families enjoyed together, including wagon rides, pumpkin picking, giant slides and the farm’s famous corn maze. With 209 people in attendance, the event was one of the largest and most spirited community gatherings of the season.

Children delighted in exploring all corners of the farm while parents and caregivers had the chance to relax, reconnect and share in the joy of watching their children discover new experiences. The event embodied the spirit of Old Trail—bringing people together in an environment that celebrates exploration, play and community.

Special thanks go to Chef Matt, who treated attendees to a delicious trail mix stand that kept energy levels high throughout the day, and to Hunter Barnhardt, who beautifully captured the day’s best moments through photography.

The Ramseyer Farms outing was more than just a field trip—it was a reminder of the bonds that make the Old Trail School community strong and the joy of experiencing these moments together.
