OTS Well Represented at the Akron Marathon

OTS Well Represented at the Akron Marathon

Old Trail School made a strong showing at the Akron Marathon with two relay teams, featuring faculty, staff and administrators. Along the course, OTS community members were loud and proud, cheering our runners every step of the way.

In tribute to two beloved members of the Old Trail community who recently passed, the teams were named Team Wyman, honoring Patty Wyman, a dedicated art teacher for 40 years, and Team Merryweather, honoring Tom Merryweather, a former Old Trail School headmaster and lead benefactor of the award-winning Merryweather Outdoor Classroom. Both Mrs. Wyman and Mr. Merryweather played integral parts in shaping the Old Trail experience.

It was a meaningful day of community, remembrance and camaraderie.
