Old Trail School's Chief Financial Officer Meeta Nosrati has been named the recipient of the 2024 Will Hancock Unsung Hero Award, a prestigious national honor presented by NBOA: Business Leadership for Independent Schools.
The award is given to chief business officers who have made extraordinary contributions to their schools and allows heads of school and others to recognize the work of their business officers within the school community.
"This award is named the unsung hero for a reason," said Head of School Sarah Johnston, "as the CFO can play a behind-the-scenes role in schools. However, the CFO is critical to the health and viability of every institution. As the CFO, Meeta is brilliant and has led our school in balancing the budget for seven years in a row. Meeta's ability to be both strategic and financially responsible is the cornerstone of her success."
We are incredibly grateful for Meeta's dedication, leadership and unwavering commitment to Old Trail School! Meeta was elected to the NBOA Board in 2023, and her strategic vision and financial stewardship have been vital to our school's success. Congratulations, Meeta, on this well-deserved recognition!
