At OTS, we believe in the power of service, learning and reflection to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This year, our school community came together for a meaningful day of remembrance and action, celebrating Dr. King's dedication to equality and social change.
OTS parents, students, faculty and friends gathered in the morning for a pancake breakfast, fostering conversation and connection among attendees. Following breakfast, students led insightful presentations on Dr. King's lasting impact and shared inspiring stories about our local community partners, highlighting the importance of service and collective responsibility. These student-led discussions reinforced the values of empathy, equality and advocacy that remain at the heart of our school’s mission.
In the spirit of giving, Old Trail also hosted a coat drive to support those in need during the cold winter months. Through the generosity of our families, we collected numerous coats and winter essentials, ensuring that our community partners could distribute them to those who need them most.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, contributed and helped make this day special. Your commitment to service and community strengthens the bonds that make Old Trail a truly special place. By working together, we continue to embody Dr. King’s dream and create a lasting impact both within our school and beyond.
