Hear, Here returns on Wednesday, February 8, at 6:00 p.m. in the Library Lecture Room. Through support from the OTS George T. Parry Speaker Fund, Hear, Here is an important part of Old Trail’s global initiatives, featuring expert speakers who seek to challenge and broaden our perspectives on contemporary issues, both globally and domestically, through intimate, moderated conversations.
Our guest will be Aaron David Miller. Miller is a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace focusing on U.S. foreign policy. From 1978-2003, Miller served in the U.S. State Department as a historian, analyst, negotiator, and advisor to Republican and Democratic U.S. secretaries of state, where he influenced and shaped U.S. policy on the Middle East and Arab-Israeli peace process.
Miller is one of the world’s most preeminent Middle East scholars and is the author of many books. His articles frequently appear in The Washington Post, The New York Times and Foreign Policy, to name a few. In addition, he can regularly be seen and heard on NPR, CNN and the BBC.
Hear, Here is a free event but space will be limited. Please register here.
