Old Trail Gives Back During Thanksgiving Break

Old Trail Gives Back During Thanksgiving Break

Service has long been a core value at Old Trail and a highlight of our character-building curriculum. Through service, we aim to graduate students who march into their futures imbued with empathy for others, a passion for changing the world for the better, and the persistence, creativity and drive to make it happen. Along with our three other Core Values of Goodness, Respect and Responsibility, these principles form the pillars of our whole-child approach at OTS.

Members of the OTS community, including students, parents, administrators and staff, led by example during the first day of Thanksgiving Break by volunteering at Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. Together, the group helped to support one of our longtime community partners by sorting and packaging nearly 3,000 meals to benefit neighbors in need.

Many thanks to our volunteers and to OTSPA Community Engagement Officer George Ilodi for coordinating this annual service event!
