Eighth Grader Mason ’26 Named MVP of Prestigious Minicopa Endesa in Spain

Old Trail School eighth grader Mason ’26 earned international recognition last weekend after being named MVP of the 2026 Minicopa Endesa, a premier Spanish U14 basketball tournament held in Valencia, Spain.

Mason competed as a shooting guard for Real Madrid’s youth squad, delivering an outstanding performance across five games against top competition from ACB club teams. He capped off the tournament with a dominant showing in the championship game against Valencia Basket, recording a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

For the tournament, Mason averaged 15.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Congratulations, Mason! The entire Old Trail community is proud of you.
