Fall Musical Showcase Highlights Student Growth

Our Fall Musical Showcase shined a spotlight on the remarkable growth, creativity and courage of students in the Musical Theatre, Modern Band and Digital Music electives. From Broadway selections to chart-topping pop hits, performers brought down the house with energetic group numbers and heartfelt solo monologues that reflected both skill and personal expression.

Throughout the evening, students stepped boldly onto the stage to try new things, take risks and share their art with the community. Their performances demonstrated not only technical progress but also the confidence that comes from being supported, encouraged and known.

Middle School electives at Old Trail are designed to give students meaningful agency in their learning. By choosing courses aligned with their interests, and by working closely with teachers who know them well, students are empowered to explore passions in ways that are hands-on, authentic and deeply personal.

The showcase was a celebration of that journey. As students discovered their voice on stage, they also discovered more about themselves—gaining confidence, fostering creativity and building connections that will carry far beyond the spotlight.
