Performing Arts

Primary School students perform vocally on the stage.
Middle School performing arts students rehearse Into The Woods.

Our Performing Arts program provides multiple opportunities for our students to develop musically through the best of song literature, a variety of instruments and performance groups, high quality listening experiences, teaching skills, materials and activities sequenced the way children learn.

In the younger grades, small classes meet two to three times weekly to allow each child to sing, play instruments or perform. The curriculum offers strong integration of multi-cultural influences with an emphasis on music literacy.

Intermediate and Middle School students select from a wide variety of music electives and have performance opportunities throughout the year in band, orchestra and chorus. Classes include digital composition, stagecraft, musical production and more. Students in Grades 7 and 8 participate in community competitions (Ohio Music Education Association Solo and Ensemble Adjudicated Event and Honors Band and Choir).
