Motivated teachers, accomplished musicians and artists, coaches who reinforce teamwork and wellness, a comprehensive support staff—all give their all for students. Our priority and point of pride has always been guiding each child's growth in all areas. 

Students are known and cared for as individuals, and fully immersed in a world of collaborative, academically challenging, experiential learning opportunities. These experiences enrich understanding and deeply embed knowledge in students regardless of their learning style. There is simply no more effective way to equip children with the skills they need to be successful learners for life.  

Healthy Lunch

Healthy lunch options served daily in the cafeteria, often sourced from our campus farm, because children perform better when they are fueled by nutritious foods.

Mission Mornings

During Mission Mornings, Early Childhood students learn to care for their space and build connections with older role models.

Performing and Visual Arts

Performing and visual arts are taught in every grade—programming that inspires every child's creativity and immerses them in the process of creating.

Physical Education and Sports

Daily physical education and interscholastic athletics are designed to give students a team experience and provide a model of fitness.

Service Learning

Service-learning opportunities like the OTS Community Day of Service instill compassion, empathy and leadership in our students while supporting local organizations like the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank and Akron Children’s Hospital.

Support Services

Support services from an experienced and robust staff of professionals, including learning specialists, school psychologists, a speech and language pathologist and school nurse.

Attending Old Trail as a student shaped my perspective of the world around me. I had incredible teachers during my most formative years who supported me socially and academically. I credit my desire to study education during college to the enriching academic experiences I had at OTS.
