Grades 4 & 7 students paired up together to help Summit County CASA Program

Grades 4 & 7 students paired up together to help Summit County CASA Program (Court Appointed Special Advocates for children) with their Birthday Box Program!
CASA is a government service that helps support children who have no family home to go to each night. The program helps between 900-1,100 children a year who are in foster homes or residential treatment centers in Northeast Ohio. Children may not get to have a personal celebration with friends and family, so the Birthday Box Program helps provide children with the same feeling that someone cares for them and is wishing them well.

OTS students created cards filled with pictures, designs, and even jokes that wished these children a happy birthday, letting them know that someone cares.
