Class of 2020 Spotlight: Charlie M.

To recognize the Old Trail Class of 2020, we will be showcasing Grade 8 students on our website and social media over the next several weeks. Today's spotlight is Charlie M.
Charlie has been at OTS since his ECP years and will be attending Archbishop Hoban High School in the fall. He looks forward to playing sports in high school and lists winning a championship as a member of the eighth grade boys basketball team as his favorite memory.

We recently asked him to reflect back on his time at Old Trail. Here are his responses:

How have you changed since enrolling at Old Trail?
I’m about four feet taller!

What are some fun facts about you that people may not know?
I’m going to play high school football and basketball. I eat a lot. I’m the youngest of three boys and I’m better than them at video games!

What is your favorite Old Trail memory?
Being part of the eighth grade boys basketball championship team.

What will you miss most about Old Trail School?
My friends and teachers, and Old Trail. It’s the only school I’ve ever attended!

What advice would you give younger students at Old Trail?
Work hard and play hard.
Old Trail School is an independent day school (toddler through grade eight) located in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
