Class of 2020 Spotlight: Kayla B.

To recognize the Old Trail Class of 2020, we will be showcasing Grade 8 students on our website and social media as we near graduation. Today's spotlight is Kayla B.
Kayla has been at OTS for 11 years and will be attending Revere High School in the fall. She plans to pursue a nursing career in the future, lists the challenge and reward of the International Fair project as her greatest achievement at Old Trail, and will miss her friends and teachers most when she graduates.

We asked her to reflect back on her time at OTS. Here are her responses:

What do you consider to be your greatest achievement at Old Trail? Why?
My greatest achievement is the International Fair. It was challenging and time-consuming, but it was also so much fun to finally finish and show the school at the end. It was also fun to learn about the country I chose.

What do your future plans include? Where do you expect to be in 10 years?
My future plans include going into nursing and working in the ICU.

What is your favorite Old Trail memory?
My favorite Old Trail memory is doing the Craft Fair with my friends.

What will you miss most about Old Trail School?
I will miss my friends and teachers.

Old Trail School is an independent day school (toddler through grade eight) located in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
