Class of 2020 Spotlight: Ella H.

To recognize the Old Trail Class of 2020, we will be showcasing Grade 8 students on our website and social media as we near graduation. Today's spotlight is Ella H.
Ella has been at OTS for two years and will be attending Kent Roosevelt High School in the fall. She is interested in pursuing a law career, dreams of one day living in the mountains of Colorado, and will not soon forget how an unwanted visitor interrupted her seventh grade class trip to Tremont!

We asked her to reflect back on her time at OTS. Here are her responses:

What do your future plans include? Where do you expect to be in 10 years?
I want to live in the mountains in Colorado and be a lawyer!

What is your favorite Old Trail memory?
My favorite OTS memory was from the Tremont trip when the girls found a mouse in the cabin. We all slept next to each other on the top bunks because no one wanted to sleep near the floor!

What will you miss most about Old Trail School?
I will miss all my amazing friends I made and will miss coming to such a beautiful school.

What advice would you give younger students at Old Trail?
Don't let other peoples' choices influence your own because, in the end, what will matter most is that you are passionate about what you are doing.

Old Trail School is an independent day school (toddler through grade eight) located in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
