Celebrating Earth Day 2018

Old Trail School celebrated Earth Day on Friday, April 20.
Middle School students spent the entire morning in Cuyahoga Valley National Park! working on a collaborative project with the Park and a research team from Kent State University. Students and faculty planted 200 trees near Boston Mills / Brandywine / Alpine Valley Ski Resorts. In the afternoon older students paired with their younger “buddies” and researched to see what is living on our campus. Each team received research tools that they used to capture and identify organisms.

The day concluded with our Middle School World Drumming students performing...another awesome Earth Day at OTS!

Old Trail School is an independent day school (toddler through grade eight) located in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
